Space exploration has revolutionized our understanding of the universe and provided significant insights into Earth’s geophysical and environmental processes. This article examines the interdisciplinary contributions of space exploration to Earth sciences, focusing on remote sensing, planetary geology, climate monitoring, and natural disaster prediction. Drawing upon recent advancements in space missions and satellite technologies, the study highlights the vital role of space-based observations in environmental science, climate change mitigation, and resource management. It also emphasizes the importance of collaboration between astrophysics, geology, meteorology, and environmental sciences to address global challenges. This paper presents an analysis of case studies from Pakistan’s space initiatives and their implications for scientific research and sustainable development. The article concludes by exploring future pathways for Pakistan’s space exploration efforts in advancing Earth science research.
